E-mail: billhyer@lakesidepres.com Phone: 601-992-2835 Bill was born in San Bernardino,
California, and grew up playing baseball and surfing on the beaches of Southern
California. He went to the University of Southern California, then dropped out
and went to live in Hawaii. After returning home, he began reading the Bible
and was converted to Christ in the “Jesus Movement.” He then went to Wheaton
College, Illinois, where he met his wife, Michelle, and played football, being
an All-American at wide receiver. After graduating from Gordon-Conwell Theological
Seminary, South Hamilton, MA, he served as a Youth Minister in Fort Myers,
Florida, and Pastor of a church in Abington, MA. In 1987, he started Christ
Church EPC in Anderson, South Carolina which he pastored for 23 years. As a
member of the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic, he served for many years as
chairman and a member of the Ministerial Committee and as Moderator of the
Presbytery. In November, 2009, he was called to be Pastor of Lakeside
Presbyterian Church. Bill and Michelle have two sons, Billy and Andrew, who are
married to two wonderful wives. Bill loves his wife, learning about most
anything, and sports. Bill’s passion is to love and live for God and to know
the Word of God (Ezra 7:10) and teach it (2 Tim. 2:2) so that people will come
to know the Lord Jesus Christ and grow as His disciples (Matt. 28:19).

Part of the Lakeside “team” since 1998, Jim currently serves as Associate Pastor of Congregational Life, a ministry that looks to the healthy participation of every member of Lakeside in the life of the church. This is to be accomplished through lives lived in terms of the Gospel of Jesus Christ who calls all of His people to loving discipleship. Jim and his wife Vicky have three children, only one of which is still living at home; which is good because they are getting tired.

Chris grew up in Alabama, but has been welcomed with open arms to Mississippi, along with his wife, Brooke, and their three kids, Parker, Caidlea, and Maddie. He and his family moved to Brandon in 2008 from Mobile, where he attended college at the University of Mobile. Chris' passions include Alabama football, hanging out with teenagers, and spending time with his family. He plays guitar (fairly well) and ping pong (only slightly better); hobbies which have both come in handy during his 8 years of youth ministry.
