Local & World MissionsThe women of Lakeside collect the Joy Gift each year at the Christmas program to assist a family/families in our Lakeside family that have had difficult financial situations during the year. For our local mission project, we assist the Center for Violence Prevention in Rankin County. At Christmas, we adopt several families to provide gifts and other necessities for the holiday. In June and July, we begin collecting school supplies and financial donations to purchase uniforms to help assist families with back to school needs. Each year the women of Lakeside support world missions through the EPC Faith Focus offering. We collect monetary contributions at our fall and spring dinners for Faith Focus. |
